Short Bio
Jin is currently a PhD student at Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU), majoring in Computer Science. Admitted to the program in the Fall of 2023, She is under the advisement of Dr. Zhang Lu Eric. Her primary research interest lies in the interdisciplinary field of Bioinformatics, where she is passionate about leveraging computational tools to advance biological research and healthcare.
Before embarking on her PhD journey, Jin obtained her master’s degree from The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), where she was advised by Dr. Li Yu. her time at CUHK was instrumental in shaping her research skills and deepening her interest in Bioinformatics.
Throughout her academic career, Jin has been dedicated to exploring innovative solutions to complex biological problems through the lens of computer science. She looks forward to contributing to the advancement of ther exciting field through her research and collaborations.
